The “Diamond” Family

Jerome Deriso - Physical Therapist (Latrobe and Ligonier)

Owner and Founder of Diamond Physical Therapy. A Gateway graduate, he went on to study Chemistry at Washington and Jefferson College, and receive his Master’s in PT from Slippery Rock University. Jerry fell in love with Physical Therapy when going through rehab for a wrestling injury. In March of 2000 he opened up the Ligonier office. Diamond PT was started with the intention of creating a personalized therapy treatment that was unique as the individual using it. And after 23 years of exceptional service, offices were expanded to Greensburg and Latrobe. Jerry is a husband, who is helped at the Latrobe office by his wife Von. A father to four, and an avid golfer at the Latrobe Country Club during the sunny seasons.

Darleen Ross - Physical Therapist (Ligonier)

Darleen Ross is the Licensed Physical Therapist for our Ligonier office. She is Diamond PT’s longest tenured employee. She was the first therapist that Jerry hired shortly after opening up the office. Her expertise comes in the myofascial release of pressure in joints and muscles. She is a very active person in the office, and has a talent for being in many places at once.

Max Queale- Physical Therapist (Ligonier)

Max Queale is our Licensed Therapist for our Greensburg office. With a young and vibrant spirit, Max is sure to bring a smile to anyone stepping into the office. Before joining the Diamond Family, Max was a physical therapist for 6 years at Mercy Hospital. He made the switch to private practice because of the disconnect he had to his patients at the hospital. Max loves to incorporate breathing and meditative techniques into therapy sessions to maximize recovery.

Nicole Blaker - Massage Therapist (Latrobe)

Nicole Blaker is the Licensed Massage Therapist at our Latrobe office. She is a graduate of Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. Nicole is trained in multiple modalities of massage that can release tension, ease pain and improve range of motion. After working in social services for over 15 years with the Head Start program, it was time for a change of pace. Healing in the most natural ways possible has been a passion and massage therapy fits perfectly! Each massage session is specifically designed for the clients' needs for that day.
