Cryotherapy

It’s All in Your Head!

Full Body CryoTherapy has been used to treat chronic pain, migraines, Fibromyalgia, Dementia, and Cancer. As your body adjusts to the temperature it will release endorphins and start the body’s flight or fight mode. Allowing increased blood flow to all internal organs and muscles. These good feeling endorphins create an energetic and overall good feeling upon exiting the chamber.

Once bringing your body back to normal temperatures the overall feeling you get will have you coming back for regular treatments. The positive effects to CryoTherapy show best results when the patient is set on a routine session. Diamond PT and Wellness is offering single sessions, group packages of 4, 8, and 12. There is also an option of having monthly and yearly memberships that give you access to a session every day.

You can either ice a bothersome area for 25 minutes, or you can use Cryo for 2-3 1/2 minutes and feel really good afterwards. Step outside your comfort zone, pressure makes diamonds. Putting your body in controlled uncomfortable situations is how we grow and excel as humans.

Cryotherapy in Latrobe

Our Latrobe office is proud to offer truly a one-of-a-kind treatment unlike any other office in Western Pennsylvania. The only full-body CryoTherapy Chamber that works towards full body recovery. Specifically muscle healing, reducing inflammation and increased flexibility, and weight loss!

Participants will step into the CryoChamber and experience the subfreezing temperatures up to 3 1/2 minutes at a time. Temperatures can very from -140 to -176 degrees! The subzero dry air rejuvenates your mind, body, and skin as you adjust to the temperatures.

What may seem like a daunting task is actually very simple. Unlike Western Pennsylvania, the elements are not a factor. Light to moderate winds make the first two minutes of the therapy session are easier than expected.

Our first year-long Cryo Member, Adam, talks about why he began Cryotherapy and what benefits he gets out of it. Convenience and Accessibility help play a factor when Adam looks for ways to improve his quality of life.
